About Us |
Our Mission at Matthews Hope Foundation is to restore the fullness of life
to each client we serve. Our unique and highly effective Care Model
significantly reduces relapse and overdose death and guides our clients
into full long-term recovery of their physical, emotional, and spiritual
sense of self and ultimately results in the redemption of their relationships with their loved ones and their creator.
What is MHDRPMatthew's Hope Detox and Recovery Program (MHDRP) is 22 bed advanced detox program in the CMS accredited acute care portion of St. Joseph Medical Center located Houston.
MHDRP is truly a one-of-a-kind detoxification model that goes far beyond any detox program in the country. At MHDRP we tailor a specific program for each patient using a variety of evidenced-based, peer-reviewed, medical and holistic treatment modalities which not only detox patients off of drugs and alcohol but actually begin healing the body and brain from addiction. Unlike other detox and substance abuse disorder programs which have high recidivism rates and low longterm success, at MHDRP, we do not offer a generic philosophy or follow the cookie cutter approach. From the time a client walks through our doors and even after they leave, our Recovery Support Team ( RST) will engage with the client and continue to work with our clients for 2 years. ( see Matthew's Hope Foundation RST). |
Our MissionWhile many treatment programs speak of the three tier approach of healing the mind, body and spirit, at MHDRP we truly address all three. Our mission is to take a collective medical, holistic and spiritual approach at healing the mind, body and spirit in ways no other detoxification or recovery programs have ever done before.
Through treating and healing the cognitive mind to enhance brain health, we are better suited to address mental wellness and medical complications associated with addiction. By using proprietary neuroscience methodologies combined with medical, holistic therapies and spiritual counseling MHDRP promises better results than any program of it's kind where complete healing and recovery are possible. |

Brittany Williams, ICP. As an undergraduate she assisted in medical research with neurofeedback devices, and biofeedback devices. However, her true goal was to find a way to alleviate her congenital chronic pain and ensuing insomnia. Her quest has taken her around the world studying different modalities of relief.
When she returned to Houston, Brittany was introduced to IASIS. After the first session, she noticed a difference in her energy. That reaction spurred her on to examine the technology. Within weeks Brittany went from merely existing each day to living each day, because of this amazing change in her life, Brittany has made it her mission to bring this healing technology to others. Her heart is in helping people live their best lives, especially those suffering PTSD. She has witnessed the psychological devastation of post-traumatic stress within her own family and friends. And she has seen the transformation the technology has brought to suffering vets. It has brought back their motivation, improved their memory, decreased their irritability and anger, and even seen their reaction to outside stimuli decrease. Witnessing these positive reactions in others and herself is the motivating factor behind Ms. Williams dedication to the technology. |
